PS4's first Gundam game! The free-to-play "Gundam Battle Operation NEXT" launches this year!

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Gundam Battle Operation NEXT will launch this year on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan and Asia.

A followup to the PS3 team battle action title Gundam Battle Operation, it puts players into—and out of—the cockpit of a mobile suit in competitive multiplayer online battles. Gundam Battle Operation NEXT will be free to play, with an optional cash shop available.

As the first PS4 Gundam game, it promises to deliver a whole new level of visceral combat. Mobile suits from non-Universal Century Gundam series will be included, pleasing fans from around the world.
Players on both PS3 and PS4 will be able to play together, regardless of which system they're using. Current Battle Operation players will receive special bonuses at launch based on their rank.

An advance open beta begins April 30th.
The client can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store on both PS3 and PS4. Play through May 3rd!
